This male may not be the silver grey girl that we were hoping for with this pairing, but he certainly has the fantastic fiber traits that we were hoping for! Crimpy, shiny, soft and well covered -- you cannot help but notice this little guy. Yes, he IS worthy and he is getting better & better with age.

Full Peruvian, with champions in his bloodlines that make you take a second look -- yes, that is the now deceased multiple champion true black Knight Ryder who showed who took the ring by storm in his day. And Shades of Silver is the champion son of the notable champion Legend's Peruvian Revelation by KPR. This pedigree is definitely 'name dropping' if you are interested in champion black and grey.

This boy has been on the smaller size but is starting to kick into his growth. Still a compact young male, you cannot deny his excellent confirmation and proportions as he continues to grow. It has been our experience that the first born from many maidens tends to be on the smaller size at birth and have more growing to do than their siblings, but he is catching up. And, with as much fiber and of its quality, he is splitting his energy between growing fiber and body. Because, let me tell you, he as fantastic fiber! Soft, crimpy, shiny, buttery fiber.

In his first show in 2016, he often stood second to Val d'Sere, the legendary many times color champion and judge's choice winner. And during the color champion, though the CCNF male took reserve (after Val d'Sere took CC, of course), we got several 2nd glances by the judge when Axios moved up to the front row for consideration.

We have Axios bred to our Sparrow Lark, who had made a lovely TB female by our multiple champion black herdsire, for the possibility of color with Axios' fleece characteristics! Well, we were able to produce a fantastic brown boy from this paring -- vying for best cria of the year on our farm!
