A spectacular result from the pairing of K with the exceptional Avalon's Jacob Black. The genetics here are amazing. We were pleased in his grey coloration with the genetics of this pairing. This male has one of the finest fleeces of all crias ever born on our farm. It has beautiful crimp and organization, shine and staple. As he matures we expect that he will show off is fleece wonderfully in the ring. And for spinning -- it is hands-down amazing to the touch! Truthsayer's first cri ...

We hesitate to sell her because she is one of only three dams by our multiple champion/ judge's choice Smokejumper. If not for our need to reduce herd size we would keep her for our grey program, and I am sure we will have some regret selling our Jumper girl. He was still winning banners for his fleece at 5-6 years old (he even beat our many time champion Stradivarius once), so shame on us for not utilizing him more in our breeding program. Jumper was the son of the rose grey foundation dam in ...

Huacaya Herdsire (Male) Medium Rose Grey, Dark Rose Grey

We think this boy is the darkest 'silky' type we have seen! His fiber is slick and shiny that it looks and almost feels wet! Even judge Tim Lavan commented that his fiber looked almost like it was wet! He has LOTS of fiber on him, and with a really long staple so that it droops somewhat when he is at his peak length. But don't be fooled by this and think that he is not dense... he has a lot of fiber packed on him! He has white fibers in his blanket but not consistently enough to cla ...

Pretty girl with lovely looks!

Funny thing.... Harmony has been bred twice in one cycle to two different males! Oops. But, that's because she was matching nicely with two males in our planning and actually ended up pairing with both our Artorius (multiple champion son of champion Red Granite's Royal Brutus) and our Major (son of Patagonia's Ernesto). We planned to resolve it if/when she cushed after this first cycle, by picking one of these herdsires to breed her to, as we were excited to see what she produced either way! But, since she was instead confirmed pregnant by ultrasound, it looks like we will be submitting both males for the cria registration!

Harmony has been a sweet heart with eye catching looks. She is upright and easy moving on a balanced frame to give her an all over well confirmed look. Her fiber is nicely crimpy and dense with soft handle, warm brightness, and good staple length. We are looking forward to pushing her grey genetics to the forefront to hopefully produce a lovely classic grey cria.

Being that she has the lineage that could be hiding grey genetic and she may be bred to our Artorius, she is in our foundation until we see this first cria. We have had multiple inquiries for this girl, and not surprising due to her fineness and uniformity, but we have to hold on to her for now.
