Wolf Den's Dark Secret

Huacaya Herdsire (Male) True Black

AOA# 31620901 DOB: 8/10/200913 yrs
At Autumn Sun Alpacas, we know that is no secret that this true black herdsire is an all-around package that you will want to cover any dam, light or dark colored! Secret is a black that had no fading at his tips or interspersed white fibers when he was showing (he's getting a few 'old man' white hairs now). This isn't surprising with a lineage that includes notable black sires like Othello, recently deceased, and Snowmass Nova's Dark Quest. With his distinctive head and leg coverage, along ...

Dillinger's Gennesis

Huacaya Open (Female) Dark Rose Grey

AOA# 32157390 DOB: 8/17/201012 yrs

Genny's next cria, when br ...

Gin is a girl worthy of being in a champion breeding program so when we realized that she was expressing a modern grey gene, we doubled down on that -- taking her to the exceptional 13x champion modern grey male Spartan's Silver - Lining! Unfortunately it turns out she hadn't taken and was open when she returned home. We left her open in 2022 to roll her over to a spring breeding cycle.

Gin is the daughter of our Hannaruh g-daughter, Dillinger's Gennesis, so we know her lineage is stacked with true grey, harlequin grey (notably re-branded as leopard appaloosa in recent years), and patterns. Though black, her sire has also been shown to produce grey, so we planning for a grey offspring.
