This male is rooted to the ground. In his maturity, you cannot see his toes in his tree trunk legs with massive coverage on heavy bones. This frame is extremely solid, well conformed, and easy moving. His crimp is still popping and consistent across his blanket. His micron is moving out as he works in our breeding program but his handle and staple are still great! All this fleece and body 'goodness' is topped with a sweet, calm, just-the-facts-m'am personality that makes him an awesome herdsire.... And, then take a look at the fiber of his offspring! Superluminal's fiber was so delicious that we could not let him go!
This girl has the looks and the bloodlines to positively hold her own in the breeding program and show ring..... Val impressed the judges and competition in her first show, placing 2nd out of 7 but being named the finest in the class by the judge!
She is a big girl, well built and definitely not wanting at the dinner table. She was an excellent mom, attentive, birthing and breeding easily (she doesn't spit off -- she gives terrible looks and strolls off), and nursing well.

She is a big girl, well built and definitely not wanting at the dinner table. She was an excellent mom, attentive, birthing and breeding easily (she doesn't spit off -- she gives terrible looks and strolls off), and nursing well.
Her first pairing was to Rembrandt at the Flying Dutchman Alpacas in Oregon and she produced a bright white and shiny white boy that we cleverly named 'Man in Armour'! This boy has the looks of a Greek god (or a knight in a painting), and is very fine, dense, and very bright. She and her first cria, Armour, have a lovely fine, crimpy, dense, long fiber that is a pleasure to spin into next to skin yarn.
Her pairing to our LF Supermassive produced a white boy that is already rock solid and energetic. He has tiny little microbundles all over, so we are looking forward to seeing that fleece develop! As the summer progressed, we watched this male bloom and his fiber is !FANTASTIC!... We don't even care that he is white (we try to breed for color). He draws your eyes from the across the paddock. When you part his fleece, it is a feast for your eyes as well as a luxury for your hands.
2022.... full sister to Superluminal!
Son of our AutumnSun's Supermassive, he is AutumnSun's Superluminal -- and he is moving faster than the speed of light.
We love this boy and Amanda VandenBosch absolutely did at this first show, the 2018 TxOLAN Walking Fleece -- while still sporting his cria tui tips. She still said he was very uniform from skin to tip and far shoulder to his backside to all the way down his belly. She even gave the comment that you could pratically flip him over and said we had to be pleased with him!
His incredibly long staple, in part from not being cria shorn is hampering his show career as some judges do not like that look and he is susceptible to the "flop" in his fiber at hot and humid shows.... the boy just gets hot and sweaty!
Awards
2ND - THE FUTURITY, LIGHT JUVENILE B&O, AMANDA VANDENBOSCH. THE JUDGE LOVED HIM AND HAD MORE TO SAY ABOUT HIM THAN THE 1ST PLACE ANIMAL! SHE COMPLIMENTED HIS HEAVY BONE, VERY LONG STAPLE, UNIFORMITY EVEN DOWN TO HIS BELLY, AND CRIMP ALL ALONG HIS STAPLE. SHE SAID HE IS CARRYING A MASSIVE AMOUNT OF FLEECE AND ONCE SHORN HE WILL BE ABLE TO GROW MORE!
COLOR CHAMPION IN 2018 TXOLAN WHITE WALKING FLEECE, AMANDA VANDENBOSCH -- A JUVIE BEATING 21 OTHER JUVENILE, YEARLING, AND 2 YR OLD ALPACAS!
***GENERAL TERMS: Note that Specific listing terms (above) may supersede or differ from 'general' finance information at any time, and contract details are the superseding terms. *** Depending on the purchase price and the animal status, we usually can finance at 12 months / 0% interest available with down payment. Other financing can be possible depending on the situation/purchase. Often included is 30 days free board from contract to allow time to transport, with further agisting possible at $4/day. Transportation and associated costs are the buyers responsibility. At payoff, the AOA 'breeder' certificate transfer will be allowed, at our cost for alpacas priced above $1000. For proven dams/sires and alpacas under $1500, no breeding warranties will be extended. Live cria guarantee for dams sold pregnant is provided if/as specified in contract terms and as long as Autumn Sun Alpacas has available wholly owned / unrestricted herdsires for breed-backs.
If bought as a fiber boy, AOA certificate transfer and transportation costs are the buyers and extended breeding warranties are not provided. At CVI exam, if the buyers desire, the vet can confirm he has descended testicles, but this is not warranted at fiber boy prices. As a Jr. herdsire, his cost will be +2000 and with warranties an additional +1000 -- you decide your risk and the price tailored to your situation and comfort! Transport can occur at contract signing or after 1 month free agisting.
