Victorian Gold has many desirable traits that benefit you. His fiber maintained its fineness and handle as he matured. His cria fleece was amazing -- with a high amplitude crimp, intense luster, good density, long staple length, and beautiful body coverage. Buttery soft with a warm shine and long staple as a yearling, his fleece continued to be a length and fineness that allowed us to use it for next-to-skin roving production well into his maturity.

Longbow is eye-catching in his proud stance and uniform coloration. The reduction of spots on greys in the show ring has been remarkable with a solid blanket being more common, but Longbow still stands out for his extremely uniform rose grey color as his coat is an even 'roaning' heather without spots. With our champion Frosted Red Rose as his dam and Snowmass Enlightenment as his sire, you can see the strong resemblance!
He also inherited his dam's fine, uniform fiber, and a high-... |

Spice is aptly named as her bay black and white fibers look like spices in a bowl. Colorwise, this fiber is beautiful as handspun yarn and even more intriguing when blended with fawn and/or chestnut browns. But Spice is not just a producer of soft alpaca fiber. She comes from a lineage of color and lasting fineness that, if she is like her parents, she will pass on to her crias.
Spice is a classic dark rose grey with a white blaze and the top of a tuxedo marking. She has an evenly combined dark / white fibers, lighter neck roaning, and no white socks. It seems that Spice would be nicely paired with either classic grey or a modern grey.
Her fiber is fine and soft, with small high frequency crimp and good staple length. She is balanced in her proportions, solid in bone, and nicely framed. She is well grown and moves elegantly with an ease of movement.
As 4th generation grey alpaca, Spice has a strong grey pedigree. With maternal ancestors like Fantasy's Promise and Silvio, her lineage is a testimony to her solid place in a grey breeding program. Her 'rose' in her grey is a nod to her fawn sire. From her sire, our Spanish Peak's Victorian Gold ('Tory'), she has the benefit of Snowmass breeding. Tory himself displayed a long-lasting fineness, as well as an apparent prepotence in passing on his fineness. From her sire, Spice's heritage includes PPeruvian Pluro and PP. Victor -- both know for their offspring with fineness and handle.
Spice had a very nice fawn boy but he unfortunately was lost as newborn to illness. She unfotunately has a a bit of trouble cycling since last year but might just need a vet work up before breeding. Therefore, she is being sold without warranty but her certificate can be transferred at buyer's cost as a breeder.
