Such a cute, well developed and grown out girl with extremely (over 7" staple) long fiber, we were all thrilled when she was freed of her massive coat of then tired fleece at her 2016 shearing. Her cria fiber with its tui tips was so long the wind actually whipped the ends so that she was tangled, cotted and dirty on her ends. This held her back some in the ring, but you could appreciate her potential when looking at her fleece down a the skin.

Merida grew up big and strong, with long staple and a lovely handle. She continues to be a huge sweetheart -- loving to kiss you - even when bred. But, the best of both worlds, she is a fantastic mom, too.

Her first cria sired by Red Granite's Royal Brutus has AWESOME fiber and we truly love him. BUT. you second offspring sired by our Truthsayer has fiber that makes you just stop and gape. LOVE the offspring she produces. She is definitely not leaving the farm any time soon!! LOL.

We are putting our thinking caps on, but probably will try out black next year.
